Alcudia Part One /// Blue Sea and White Sand

Hi everyone!!! I've had 2 weeks off blogging after being away on holiday and of course buying my new house! All the moving, work commitments and days off has taken all of my time and now I sit here with a spare hour to tell you all about ALCUDIA!!!

So for those that follow me on Instagram you have probably seen all my amazing pictures of my time away (if you haven't make sure to follow me here carrierosepr)

When I was little, one of my first holidays away with my family was to Alcudia and I loved it that much we went again when I was 13. Ever since then, being with Harry we have tried going to different countries, visiting new places and touring Europe. However, this year we wasn't planning on going away during summer (BUT I need my holidays of course;))

So I persuaded Harry to take me back and visit the island for his very first time! After a last minute book at a great price with Travel Republic, we jetted off just 2 weeks later for a week break.

Over the holiday we did a lot of exploring, eating and of course shopping too which I cant wait to tell you all about in my next post!!

I am one of those people that gets excited about airports, we set off at midnight for our early flight, music on in the car and hitting the motorway ready for our journey. As the sun rose we boarded our flight, and arrived in Alcudia early hours! PERFECT!

As soon as we arrived at the resort, it all came flooding back to me! Yes thats right I stayed at the exact same hotel as a surprise that I stayed in as a child! That I remember it was a huge family resort (not my usual choice) but perfect for us to go and relax, and lots of things to do and see. With 8 pools we certainly had a range of choice. When we arrived the sun had just rose, the streets were dead and it was perfect to have a quick run around to show Harry the setting.

On the first day of arrival, I slipped on my striped bikini and headed to the beach. The beach was the main thing I could remember. Alcudia is famous for its white sands and blue sea, where you can sea your feet for around a mile out sea.

We spent the first day sunbathing and planning our week ahead! And at night, we headed to the town for coctails and find our bearings!

For those that are asking, my skirt is a skater skirt (old) from ASOS, and my top is a body top from Boohoo here

Day one was over and we just couldn't wait to get back to the beach! As sun as the soon rose we got up, lazied around the pool area to catch some sun and rest our bodies, then in the afternoon headed back to the beach!

We accidentally videoed when trying to take a selfie!!!

To end the evening, we sat at drank cocktails on the beach and watched the sun set over the sea!!!

The first few days had flown by! We'd built a tan, found our bearings and was ready for our next adventure! We planned on hitting the old town to see the boats, visit the castle and walk around the old villages where the local markets are, go shopping and one of my all time favourites and dream to do, go caving, cliff jumping and kayaking too!

Follow me on Twitter and Instagram for my next posts which are coming soon!
