The reason for this post is to remind everyone to take sometime for yourself and relax over the Christmas period!

I've been there... running round house to house at Christmas cramming everything in on your week off and by the end of it you need another week off to recover!

Well, remember Christmas time is about memories, family, happiness and peace so take a short walk with your family, boyfriend or even on your own and look over the year you have had. I find it so relaxing and a great way to de-stress!

I put on my winter woolies, wellington boots and furr hat and took a stroll with the boyfriend out on the fields to see the horses! It reminds me just how much I love my home town! I currently live in Leeds city centre for my work in PR so taking a break and walking on the land in my hometown where I grew up during sunset is amazing and makes me feel just at home :)

I often find my boyfriend moaning at me glued to my phone or laptop, complaining that I am blogging about my lifestyle but forgetting to live. This is soooo not true (I hope) so time to time I just need to remember to put the phone time and not feel pressured to blog 24/7. Although I do love it :)

As I say, blogging is a hobby for me and something I hugely enjoy! I love socialising, taking pictures and talking so why not !!!

I hope you like my pictures and follow me on Instagram as I am always sharing my pics on there!!

Year 2014

Instagram pics:

2014 has been an amazing year for me! I love looking back and thinking of the good things that have happened over the year and then make a to do list for the next! On my to do list for 2014 I wanted to jump out of a plane, visit a new country, buy a car and start my career in PR!

Well, I did just that!

I graduated from University of Leeds this year, finishing my degree in New Media and landed myself my dream job in PR! In such a short period of time, I have progressed so much and have lots to look forward to in the new year! eeeeeeekkkk

I also visited Portugal this year with my boyfriend, LOVED it that much... I returned for a girlie holiday in August! My friend then surprised me by booking a skydive at the highest point in the UK Hibaldstow and then treated myself to Una, my amazing mini!!

Above is pictures of my year on Instagram! I absolutely love Instagram and sharing my visual memories on here. I often scroll through smiling at myself at some of the things I got up to and some of the things I shouldn't have ;)

Not only did I get to do the things I set for 2014, but I was also surprised by a trip to London to see Wicked (something I have always wanted to see), fancy dress parties, girls nights out, University Ball, lots of birthdays oh and mine especially (My 21st)

I hope you have had a great year just like me! Of course I have had a few not so great things happened to me this year too but I am so optimistic I like thinking of the good things to keep me smiling.

I often ask people what do you have planned for the new year, and they mostly look at me in confusion! But WHY?? Get some dreams, goals and aspirations - measure your achievements and have things to look forward to! It is easy to get stuck in the rut of working life so make sure you are living too!

I would love to know what your goals or plans for the new year are?

Also follow me on Instagram and Twitter and I will follow back... I wanna see your pics :)

Lizzy at lizaboo.co.uk gives french kisses with Bourjois ...

There's  nothing more satisfying than purchasing a new lippie. So when I picked up No10 Rouge Buzz from the Bourjois Rouge Edition, my heart skipped a beat at the warm orangey red tone that shone before me.

Like picking fresh fruit ripe from the trees untainted by use, a fresh pop of colour awaits to update my makeup and with it will come a new found confidence.
The sassy kind that doesn’t care what others think and will instead pucker up at every chance she gets.

Like shoes, I’ve always believed that a girl can never have too many lipsticks, so even though I already have a few reds in the beauty bag another wouldn’t do any harm.

Bourjois have been on my radar for a while with their highly pigmented lip colours.
As rich in colour as they are in texture, application is smooth and the longevity is far greater than many of the premium brands I’ve used. With a suitable price tag to match, my Boots points have been disappearing thanks to these bold beauties.

A twist on a classic red I felt that this colour brought about something new to my existing collection.
Not quite orange and not quite a pillarbox red, the combination is a refreshing take on a lipstick style that has always dominated that makeup world.

As I like to let my lips do the talking, I decide to wear this with a simple winged eyeliner.
Colour a beautiful as this should not be distracted from with frivilous eye makeup or heavy contouring.

Colours like this are made to be the centre of attention.

*Thanks to Lizaboo.co.uk for this great guest post review of Bourjois red lipstick

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing day yesterday! I saw some great pics on Twitter and Instagram and jell of some of your presents! But as always, I believe Christmas is about family time and building memories and I hope you all had a special time!

On Christmas I am still a kid! I am the baby in the family and still have the duty of waking everyone up at 7:30 ready to see if santa has been! I first walked in to my sisters room (who is usually really grumpy in the morning) and woke her up with kisses from Coco our dog!

After making my mum a cup of tea and peaking through the door in the living room, we noticed the room was swamped with presents! I was so lucky this year I got some amazing things! But most of all, I was excited for my sister and nephews to come round, drink wine, eat lots of food and play some games! I love seeing my nephews faces when they open their presents and still believe in Santa.

I find it so magical!

After a delicious Christmas dinner and lots of sweets, bread and chocolate later we played some fun games with the family and my boyfriend. We laughed our head of playing a game seen on Celeb Juice and Heads up app too! You should definitely check Headsup app out as it is really fun!

After that, I spent the night with the boyfriend eating lots of food and watching Frozen (his fave film ;) )

Anyway... I hope you are all having a great boxing day checking out the sales and trying on your new clothes!
